Plugins

A Plugin is a custom application that runs inside OWOX Data Marts. It adds your own experience — a dashboard, a workflow helper, or an analysis tool.

Plugins build on the same entities as the rest of the platform. They can read data that Data Marts prepare and present it the way your team needs. You install trusted plugins or build your own, with or without an AI coding agent.

Use a plugin when the built-in Reports and Destinations do not cover a team-specific need.

Build a plugin with AI

Turn an idea into a useful experience inside OWOX Data Marts—a dashboard, workflow helper, analysis tool, or something unique to your team. You can build a plugin with an AI coding agent even if you do not usually write software.

You bring the problem, the people who need it, and your judgment about what “useful” means. The agent can turn that direction into a working plugin and guide you through the technical steps.

Start with an idea

Plugins can help people:

• Decide: compare scenarios, review anomalies, or turn a repeatable analysis into a guided experience.
• Act: prepare a workflow, send information to another service, or make a common task easier to complete correctly.

Begin with one person, one problem, and one useful result. A small first plugin is easier to explain, review, and improve.

Work with a coding agent

Tell the agent what someone should accomplish and what a successful first version looks like. The agent can create the project, build the interface, connect it to OWOX Data Marts, run checks, and prepare deployment and release steps.
